Three new online exhibits opening in January - March

Three new online exhibits opening in January - March

Crimson Laurel Gallery will be opening three new online exhibits in January, February and March.  The first of the exhibits opening on January 15 is "Damn Fine Valentine" and features great gifts for him and for her.  The second online exhibit opens on February 15 and is "Push, Pull" and it features great extruded work by Hayne Bayless and slip cast pieces by Tom Spleth.  Our third online exhibit on March 15 is "Encore" and it features great new ceramics by Alex Matisse.  Each of these three exhibits will be available online only.

Crimson Laurel Gallery will be open by appointment only from January 1, 2012 through March 31, 2012.  To schedule an appointment call...

Christmas in Bakersville

Christmas in Bakersville
We are having unseasonably warm weather in Bakersville and no snow is scheduled until Christmas day.  We will be open daily until Christmas day from 10am to 6pm.  We offer free gift wrapping on all holiday purchases.  We will reopen on December 26 and be open daily through December 31.  Happy holidays from Crimson Laurel Gallery and a happy and prosperous new year!

Great December Shopping Weather!
We have had a fantastic December.  The weather has been very mild this year and this weekend also looks great for holiday shopping.  Crimson Laurel Gallery has a great selection of holiday gifts and we're adding new work daily.  Recent additions include ceramics by Matt Kelleher, Anderw Massey, Leslie Bradsher, Joe Comeau, Molly Lithgo and Alex Matisse and we also have new pieces coming from Jack Troy.    We have also received new jewelry from  Matt Willig, Marvin Jensen, Deb Karash and we have new pieces coming from Lisa Cimino.  We have a great selection of holiday ornaments from Lisa Bruns, Barry Gregg, Billie Ruth Sudduth and Jim Charnesky.  If you can't come to...

New Piece by Deborah Rogers

New Piece by Deborah Rogers
We just received a new piece from Virginia artist Deborah Roger's entitled "Everyone's a Piggy".  It is a piggy bank that is based on the theme of greed.  The piece is 7.75"Hx7"Wx 5.75"D.  It is made with marblex clay, doll clay found metal, altered metal toys, glass, wood, and a rubber stopper.  It is decorated with paint, ink, colored pencil, and wax.  This whimsical piece is $695 and can be shipped in time for Christmas.  Free gift wrapping is available for this and any purchase at Crimson Laurel Gallery throughout the holiday season.
